The 338 ARC upper receiver is designed to accommodate barrel lengths of between 8 and 16 inches. This wide-length variety gives you the option to choose the right length of barrel that suits your shooting style and how you will use the weapon system. All length's will run subsonic and suppressed. The 14.5 and 16 inch barrels will be the preference for supersonic operation.
What BCG do I use with a 338 ARC Upper?
6mm ARC Uppers require a 6.5 Grendel Type 2 Bolt Carrier Group (BCG).
What Magazine do I use with a 338 ARC Upper?
A 6.5 Grendel / 6mm ARC / 22 ARC magazine will work for the 338 ARC. The only difference between these three rounds is the cartridge neck and the projectile - the base cartridge is identical.
