The 6.8 SPC II uses a dedicated 6.8 SPC bolt in a standard AR-15 carrier. Dedicated 6.8 SPC magazines are required. The upper fits any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver. Note: The .224 Valkyrie shares the same bolt face as 6.8 SPC, so if you own a 6.8 SPC BCG, it is compatible with .224 Valkyrie uppers as well.
